The 2019 Intrepid 475 Sport Yacht, “DAMN LUCKY” comes equipped with a joystick control system, integrated with the Yamaha outboard engines. This feature significantly enhances the boat’s maneuverability, especially at low speeds, making docking and close-quarters handling much easier. The joystick allows you to control the boat’s movement in all directions – forward, backward, sideways (crab walking), and rotation – with a simple push or twist. The joystick system is integrated with the Yamaha outboard engines and often the GPS system. Set Point (often referred to as Skyhook), can use GPS to hold the boats position and heading with the touch of a button.
